Tivemos um sonho: criar um espaço de luxo pensado exclusivamente no bem-estar felino. Acreditamos que os companheiros com quem partilhamos momentos únicos ao longo da vida merecem um ambiente confortável, seguro e sofisticado. E porque a tranquilidade dos tutores é tão importante quanto o conforto dos seus felinos, criámos um hotel onde a confiança, o cuidado e a excelência são os nossos pilares.

No Purrfection Plaza Cat Hotel, acreditamos que família é onde o amor se expressa sem limites. Aqui, cada gato é recebido como um membro essencial da nossa grande família. Recebemos os nossos hóspedes com dedicação e carinho, criando um ambiente onde se sentem protegidos, valorizados e verdadeiramente especiais. We are more than a hotel, we are a cause. Purrfection Plaza Cat Hotel takes responsibility for contributing to a fairer and more sustainable world for both humans and animals. We adopt ecological practices in our operations and support initiatives against abandonment and support stray cat associations helping to preserve their health. Our commitment is to the future – a future where animals are valued and protected.

Animal Welfare

The happiness of our guests is our top priority. At Purrfection Plaza Cat Hotel, we provide an environment designed to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of cats. We respect their individuality and celebrate the concept of animal welfare as an integral part of our commitment to care. So in partnerrship with CVMI – Veterinary Clinic of Integrative Medicine we help the feline association Gatos do Jardim

Adopt a Friend at Gatos do Jardim

If you want to enrich your family with an adopted cat from the shelter Gatos do Jardim, be sure you are adopting the one that belongs to your home. At Gatos do Jardim, there is nothing hidden from you. They will tell you all you need to know about the cats and kittens for adoption and help you choose the one (or two) suitable for your family. The cats GJ rescues are well taken care of. You will save a life and get a lot of happiness in return.

Special ones

So many special ones it’s hard to choose… so many we will not mention… we have our first star Sheba, the fighter. Go meet them and see som many beautiful cats that were rescue and some for adoption.

Sheba (the fighter)

Sheba was fiercely attacked by her stressed mother cat at 15 days old, bit off her tail and left her incontinent, faecal and urinary

… It was advised euthanasia, but she was the happiest and healthiest of the litter. She was born in the spring of 2017. She’s not always well, but she’s a very happy and grateful kitty when she is.

Amarelinho

Amarelinho was found unconscious on a street corner after being kicked off by a young guy on Christmas day.

Maybe this monster did not like his Christmas presents, and this sweet street cat was his victim. Amarelinho had extensive surgery and a lot of recovery treatments, including physiotherapy, acupuncture, etc. He had a brain injury and neurological problems. He survived one year with us and was very much loved.

Becas

Becas and Spina were two very old cats from the same house, dying of cancer. Becas was rescued from certain death by starving at his home.

They were treated, nourished, loved and survived 2 more years knowing the warmth and the love of a real family.

Elvira (the survivor)

Elvira, an abandoned cat left at the doorway of Gatos do Jardim, old, with severe health problems, but (more than 2,000 EUR later in treatments) is still alive and grateful for our help and purring all the time.

Sebastião (the miracle)

Sebastião was rescued almost dead, found without his mother cat and only 15 days old.

He was bottle-fed, and we noticed he had severe symptoms of Panleukopenia after-effects: he was shaking a lot, couldn’t stand up, and wobbled so much that it was hard to eat… A neurologist saw him, and euthanasia was advised. Still, we did not give up, and after one more hospitalization and discharge, he had a serious crisis, vomited a lot and had severe diarrhoea, so brutal that he lost 1/3 of his weight… very prostrate, without reaction… We thought it was the end. We stopped giving him milk, gave him subcutaneous serum injections, and put honey on his palate.

Not an hour later, Sebastião was literally waking up for life… normal. He wasn’t even shaking anymore. It really was a Case-Study, a Miracle. We don’t understand what happened to him to cause his symptoms and then stop them. All we know is that he was cured! He was adopted, and we hope his family keeps sending us news.
